High Plains Leadership Attends NACHC Policy & Issues Conference
High Plains Community Health Center leadership is proud to be in Washington, D.C. this week attending the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Policy & Issues Conference, celebrating 60 years of Community Health Centers providing high-quality, affordable care across the country.
Representing High Plains at the conference are our Chief Executive Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and two Board Members, joining health center leaders nationwide to advocate for the patients and communities we serve.
Advocating for the Future of Community-Based Care
As part of the conference, our leadership team is meeting with our National Senators and Representatives to discuss the critical role Community Health Centers play in expanding access to care — especially in rural and underserved communities.
These conversations help ensure continued federal support, sustainable funding, and strong policies that allow us to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care close to home.
We are committed not only to honoring the past 60 years of impact but also to securing the next 60 years of care for our communities.
National Leadership & Keynote Address
Conference attendees also heard from keynote speaker Mehmet Oz, MD, MBA, Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, who addressed the importance of healthcare access and policy at the national level.
