Getting the healthcare you need is easier when it’s close to where you live, study, and work. High Plains Community Health Center (HPCHC) is now providing convenient, integrated healthcare for the Lamar Community College community, with services available at the LCC Wellness Center and through the HPCHC main clinic.
Whether you need a routine checkup, care for a sudden illness or injury, help managing an ongoing health condition, or support for your mental and emotional well-being, our team is here to help. Services include physicals and preventive care, sick and acute visits, basic lab testing, women’s and men’s health, family planning, sports medicine and care for athletes, behavioral health, chronic disease management, and prescription refills. Dental visits are also available by visiting our Primary Community Health Center located at 200 Kendall Drive.
Having healthcare available on campus makes it easier to take care of your health without putting your busy schedule on hold. Students, faculty, and staff can connect with HPCHC for the care they need, when they need it, with additional services and ongoing care available at the HPCHC main clinic.

Affordable Care for LCC Students
Healthcare should be accessible to everyone. HPCHC offers a Sliding Fee Scale Discount Program to help make healthcare more affordable for LCC students. Eligibility for LCC students is based on the student’s income only, and no patient is denied care because of an inability to pay.
$10 – $25: Medical office visits
Including most laboratory services and x-rays
$30: Dental preventative checkups
Surgery: 40% – 60% of fees
The program may provide reduced-cost medical, behavioral health, laboratory, x-ray, pharmacy and dental services based on income.

No you do not need health insurance. We provide healthcare to individuals regardless of financial status or insurance coverage. HPCHC offers a Sliding Fee Scale and Ability to Pay Programs for patients. To check eligibility, contact an Eligibility Technician at 719.336.0261.

We are open on LCC campus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We are usually booked with patient appointments, but feel free to stop by and make an appointment if you haven’t visited us before.
